A while ago I did three quick 1 hr. digital sketches for a challenge to interpret some concepts from the Arabian Nights. I science fictioned them. Since then, a story has grown in my head around them, and I need to remember to write it soon.
This one is called The Cave of Wonders. Exploring a once living, now barren world, a cavern filled with strangely encrusted fossilized giants yeilds a treasure far subtler, and more ruinous, than the crew had hoped to discover.
